Abstract

The revised and expanded edition of the book The Attention Game by Marly Kuenerz is presented, a group therapeutic method with an integral and transpersonal approach that contributes to the in- corporation of unconscious material into the conscious, integrating the different experiential levels of the person to favour individual functioning and balance. The stages or modules of the therapeutic intervention are briefly described here, which correspond to the different stages of physical and psychological development of the human being in his natural evolution process, so that the method can be adapted to each person's individual process and particular psychological wounds. The main data of the research carried out by the University of Murcia are also presented, which prove the effects and effectiveness of the therapeutic method on the subject’s psychological functioning and psychopathology.

Resumen

Se presenta la edición revisada y ampliada del libro El Juego de la Atención de Marly Kuenerz, un método terapéutico grupal con enfoque integral y transpersonal que contribuye a la incorporación del material inconsciente en el consciente, integrando los distintos niveles experienciales de la per- sona para favorecer el funcionamiento y equilibrio individual. Se describen aquí someramente las etapas o módulos de la intervención terapéutica, las cuales se corresponden con las diferentes etapas del desarrollo físico y psicológico del ser humano en su proceso de evolución natural, de manera que para cada persona se pueda adaptar el método a su proceso individual y a sus particulares heridas psicológicas. Se presentan igualmente los datos principales de una investigación realizada por la Universidad de Murcia que comprueban los efectos y eficacia del método terapéutico en el funcio- namiento psicológico y psicopatología de las personas participantes.
