Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find convergences of psychosis-related disorders with spiritual emergency states and whether transpersonal experiences lead to the surge of such symptoms in psychotic and non-psychotic individuals. The study also explores how psychotic tendencies and spiritual emergent elements impact valued living. Results: Spiritual emergence is a significant predictor of clinical insight into psychosis. Transpersonal experiences and clinical insight into psychosis have a significant effect on valued living by importance and consistency. Self-expansion subscales of a personal level and transpersonal level positively predicted spiritual emergence. Transpersonal experiences positively predicted spiritual emergence. There are no significant dif-ferences between psychotic and non-psychotic individuals in terms of transpersonal experiences, spiritual emer-gence, and clinical insight into psychosis, valued living importance, and self-expansiveness on a middle level.
